Judgement Day

In yet another attempt to win back Xena, Ares & Strife team up to cause some more general mayhem. Hercules gives up his god-like powers to marry Serena, the Golden Hind. He awakens one morning to find her dead beside him with a bloody knife in his hand. Could this be the end of the mighty Hercules? Not if Xena has anything to say about it.

Xena in a slight state of disbelief
Xena: "Excuse me, did you say that Hercules got married?"
Drunk #1: "To the Golden Hind, the last of her kind."
Drunk #2: "Yeah, I heard that he gave up all his powers to marry her."

Gabrielle: "I know, it's that Hercules didn't tell you. That's what's upsetting you."
Xena: "Gabrielle."
Gabrielle: "Xena, you know, you shouldn't bottle up your emotions. Now if there's some sort of hurt or jealousy operating here, then get it out."
Xena: "Gabrielle!"
Gabrielle: "Great, just walk away from me. What, am I just talking to myself here?"

Ares: "You gotta learn to relax more, Strife, savor the moments of existence. Example, this is the site of one of my greatest triumphs, the Battle of Torrence. Ten thousand corpses littered the battle field. The stench was ... invigorating."
Strife: "So who was the general responsible for this ... aroma?"
Ares: "No general, it was a warrior. Xena. She led her army through the opponent's infantry like flies. Limbs were scattered everywhere. It was beautiful."
Strife: "You miss her, don't you? It's a shame she decided to change sides"
Ares: "I wouldn't give up on her just yet. Death's perfume can be very ... addictive."

Xena trying to console Herc
Xena: "I'm sorry about Serena."
Hercules: "She was the most beautiful woman. I didn't think that I could ever love somebody like that again. I ..."
Xena: "It's alright, we're long past the time when we could have been together."

Hercules: "This smells of Ares."

Xena: "I never thanked you for taking care of Gabrielle, thank you. She's worried about you. She says you seem upset."
Iolas: "My best friend falls in love, breaks off our partnership, and his wife gets killed and he's not sure he didn't do it. What's there to be upset about? It happens every day."

Ares: "I've got to hand it to you, Strife, this worked out better than I could have ever imagined."
Strife: "It's been fun."
Ares: "Fun is good ... so's dead."

Xena: "You want to see some more blood ... bring it on."
