*** Anyone notice just how upset Xena was that Gabrielle married Perdicus and was leaving her? And, Xena has performed more miraculous feats against gravity than one can count, why do you suppose she froze when Callisto plunged her sword into Gabrielle's new husband?

Xena: "If anyone's listening, you know I'm not much for praying...but I don't know what else to do. I was ready to give up once and Gabrielle came into my life. Please, don't let that light that shines out of her face go out. I couldn't stand the darkness that would follow."

Callisto: "Oh, how I do love watching you work."

*** Fortunately, for those of us who believe, the writers stayed true to the legend, and Xena and Gabrielle sailed off into the sunset.

Gabrielle: "Promise me one thing...you'll follow your heart and don't worry about me."
Xena: "You're part of my heart Gabrielle. You've been so good for me. I don't think I would ever have let myself feel the way I feel now about Ulysses if it wasn't for you teaching me how to love."

*** I prefer to believe that she wouldn't say these things to Ulysses if there wasn't some truth in them.

Xena: "I'm not in love with you. I don't think I ever could be. I like my life the way it is."
Ulysses: "I don't believe you. I think you are in love with me."
Xena: "Well, isn't that just a typical man. I give you a few smiles and a kiss and you're convinced that I'm in love with you. You're kidding yourself. I was embarassed by all that mush you were spewing the other night. The only reason I didn't shoot you down right then is because I didn't think you could handle it. So let me lay it on the line for you Ulysses, you're not my type."

Xena: "I let my fear and hatred blind me to everything."
Gabrielle: "Sometimes the past can do that. If I had been through ..."
